  • What does an ancient  religion like Tibetan Buddhism offer to the modern world?
  • Was Tibet the Shangri-la of the 1930s classic movie "Lost Horizons"?
  • Why should the West be interested in the Dalai Lama and Tibet?
  • How has Tibetan Buddhism influenced the career of a practicing attorney in the modern world?

Join us for a three-part lecture series presented by Rochester, NY attorney and long time Buddhist meditation practitioner, Frank Howard. Frank will explore the history of Tibet, Tibetan Buddhism and the relevance of the Dalai Lama's teachings about ethical and nonviolent behavior.

The lectures will take place on three consecutive Thursdays, August 10, 17 and 24th at the:

UB Anderson Gallery, One Martha Jackson Place, Buffalo, NY 14214.

Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

The lectures are free of charge to the public but seating is limited so reservations are required. Please indicate the number of seats you want to reserve for each lecture date. Contact The Anderson Gallery at 716-829-3754 or email by clicking here to make reservations.
